Happy Dhanteras

                          
Dhanteras is the first day of Diwali Festival which is also known as Dhanwantari Triodasi or Dhantrayodashi and dedicated to the celebration of the Goddess Lakshmi. The actual meaning of Dhanteras is the thirteen lunar day of the Krishna Paksha in Hindu month of Kartik.

On Dhanteras, the Goddess Lakshmi is worshiped to provide the prosperity and well being. Hence the Dhanteras has the special significance for the business communities. Dhanteras is considered as the festival of wealth and it is celebrated further for the festival of the lights i.e. Diwali. 

It is natural for the people to buy a lot of things at this festival and it is also a tradition to buy silver or gold jewellery or utensils to respect the occasion of Dhanteras.
